Celebrating the 2025 Joeys in Action Awards
The Joeys in Action Awards Ceremony acknowledges the outstanding efforts of our Prep to Year 4 students who exemplify the values of Mary MacKillop through their commitment to the College’s Positive Learning Behaviours. These awards recognise not only demonstrated competence and achievement, but also encourage students to pursue academic excellence, realise their full potential, and embrace learning as a lifelong journey towards the fullness of life.
Selection for these awards is guided by the 6 Ps – Prayer, Passion, Partnership, Perseverance, Practical Action, and Possibilities and are presented in the following categories::
Joeys in Action Diligence Award – presented to one student per class in recognition of consistent application, strong work ethic, and active engagement across all subject areas.
Joeys in Action Most Improved Award – presented to one student per class who has demonstrated significant growth and progress across multiple learning areas, irrespective of academic standing.
Erica Calvert Award - worked at Mary MacKillop for 14 years in the Junior School Library. She worked very closely with our Junior students and fostered a love of reading and learning.
We extend our huge congratulations to all award recipients for their academic accomplishments this year. We also express our gratitude to our dedicated teachers, School Officers and supportive parents, whose collaboration continues to create opportunities for our students to flourish and achieve their potential.
