You can register for one or more of the sessions, and the details of each day are listed in the program outline below.

Day 1

WHAT TO EXPECT |The first Prep Transition Day is all about becoming familiar with our beautiful Prep area, ensuring you and your child a smooth transition into Prep. You will have the opportunity to meet with other Prep families and talk to teachers and support staff. Our College Guidance Counsellors, Learning Support Teacher and Assistant Principal Wellbeing will also be available to answer any questions you may have. Children will have the opportunity to explore the Prep playground, moving through a range of activities to allow our teachers and Leadership team to gauge a full understanding of your child's readiness for Prep. This process will also assist us in allocating your child in the best class for their needs.

Day 2

WHAT TO EXPECT | Today is about developing independence and your child will experience a morning of Prep activities whilst you join our Leadership and other Support staff for an information session at our College Café. Your child will be placed in Kindy groups so teachers can see students with their peers and to help them to adjust to a new environment.

We highly recommend that you attend the information session as you will receive information that is practical and assists in making a smooth transition from Kindy to Prep for both you and your child. However, we understand that for varying circumstances you may not be able to make it so all parents will also receive an email with further information, so please keep an eye out for this.

Day 3

WHAT TO EXPECT | The third transition day will run very similarly to day 2 for your child and will give our teachers the opportunity to rotate through the classes to get to know your child. Your child will return to the same Prep classroom as the Day 2 transition, with the same group of children. We ask that you drop your child to the Prep area where a Prep teacher will meet them, from this point you are free to go and can return at 10:15am to collect them.
